A truly unique place

The beach is just a 10 minute walk away and makes for the perfect family playground - the sand is clean and gently sloping into the sea - you can even learn to windsurf or waterski.

 

There is a large carpark adjacent to the beach and a slipway for boat launches.

 

Walking is popular with our guests and there are plenty of nature walks around the Gower coastline. There is also a bird-hide and boardwalk through the Oxwich marshes.

 

The village of Oxwich has a licensed hotel, restaurant and also it has its very own small shop.

 

Within walking distance is a 12th century church and a 14th century castle.

 

For the more adventurous, the Gower is a well regarded area for wind surfing and rock climbing.

 

Should you feel the need for a break from the great outdoors,  just a short bus ride away is the sea side resort of Mumbles and the city of Swansea with a waterfront museum, shopping malls, restaurants, leisure centres etc.
