“Hi, I’m a very grateful Mum to one of the large group of year 11 pupils from Cardiff that you allowed to stay on your site for 2 nights on Tuesday & Wednesday.

They had never been away on their own before - so it was a big adventure for them.

I’m aware how badly treated they were  by staff at another campsite - and entrance was refused -

even though it had been agreed over the phone the week before they arrived. They very nearly came home.

I would like to say a huge thank you - the kids loved it - and said how well they were treated - you really saved the day - a big risk for you with a group that size - they’re a good bunch - who were just hoping for a bit of down time after the stresses of the exams.

Thanks again, regards, Sonia Marshall."

"Just to say a big thank you to you and your family for the lovely stay we had with yourselves for the week.

What a lovely family you are, so helpful and nothing is to much trouble for you I would also like to express how immaculate your facilities are. Thank you also for providing good information about local walks and amenities you and you family are an asset to the Gower tourists. Many thanks again."

"In 30 years of camping this has to be about the best location and camping site I’ve been to. Simple but spotless facilities and they will go out of their way to make your stay as happy as possible. The beach is 10 minutes’ walk down the road, is unspoilt, vast and beautiful and offers great swimming. Swansea and the beautiful Brecon beacon mountains within easy reach. Rory, Almere, The Netherlands"

"Ik heb in dertig jaar zelden zo’n mooie camping en locatie gezien. Eenvoudig maar erg netjes. Ze nemen alle moeite om  je verblijf gelukkig te maken. De strand is prachtig en mooi en binnen 10 minuten loopafstand. Je kunt er prima zwemmen. Swansea en de Brecon bergen zijn binnen bereik. Fantastisch, gewoon. Rory, Almere, Nederland"

"Tried this place for our first ever camping experience and it was lovely. The owners are fab, the site is fab and all within reach of the lovely Oxwich Bay. We will be going back here for sure."

"Excellent campsite, provided you remember to take your loo roll with you when you visit the toilets, and, depending on the weather your oil of citronella for balmy evenings. The grandchildren loved the pool and the setting and walk through the village is delightful. The site is very well maintained and owners very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this site to families with young children."

"This is a great campsite - we visited towards the end of the season so it was quiet. We brought our 5 month old baby with us, there were big belfast sinks in a warm room which the lovely man running the place said we should use to bath her. You can hire ice packs cheaply to keep your stuff cold. Hot water ( showers, washing up etc) is all paid for but everywhere is super clean Only winge is they don't allow open fires, but we kept our BBQ going for some much needed evening heat!"

"We spent 4 nights on this lovely camp site. Beautifully clean shower and toilet blocks, lots of toilets! Be prepared to take your own loo roll and soap as none is supplied. The owners were very friendly and helpful when we arrived and we were able to book on a day to day basis before 11am each day. The walk to the stunning Oxwich bay is just 10 minutes down the winding lanes. Very quiet at night and plenty of room for the kids to play. I'm going back next year hopefully for longer, would advise anyone to stay here."
